About the Role

Gandara is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep of our facilities. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and high-quality physical environment for our staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Routinely inspect facilities and document findings to present to supervisor
  • Assist with monthly safety inspections
  • Oversee assigned work of maintenance staff and report to supervisor as needed
  • Work alongside maintenance staff to ensure work is completed safely and to Gandara standards
  • Perform a variety of skilled jobs, including carpentry, minor plumbing, and masonry
  • Submit closed work orders with time spent per job
  • Respond to emergency calls as directed by supervisor
  • Respect clients and their homes as you perform maintenance work
  • Complete and submit assigned documentation accurately and on time
  • Attend regular supervisory meetings and cover for supervisor as assigned
Requirements
  • 2-5 years' experience in a similar capacity
  • Sound prioritizing skills and ability to perform work with minimal supervision
  • Good jack-of-all-trade's skills and ability to troubleshoot
  • Safe operation of hand and power tools
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to pass a Massachusetts background check
  • Demonstrated ability to be sensitive to special needs and safety issues
