Medical Assistant LPN

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Physician Practice, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of our registered nurses and team leaders. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients, while also contributing to the smooth operation of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide general nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing CLIA waived laboratory procedures, and conducting electrocardiograms and pulmonary function testing.
• Assist with examinations, prepare patients for procedures, and maintain accurate records of vital statistics and other pertinent data.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, restocking supplies as needed, and ensuring patient rooms are tidy and well-stocked.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care planning and provide education to patients regarding their condition.
• Perform clerical nursing duties, including patient referral scheduling, pharmacy coordination, and prior authorizations.
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing.
• Current Arkansas LPN licensure from the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
• Completion of clinical rotation.
• Must maintain BLS certification and adhere to the Mission, Vision, Values of North Arkansas Regional Medical Center and its Standards of Behavior.
