Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Eventide on Eighth Care Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing residents' needs and health status, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing direct nursing care to residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and a passion for working in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess residents' needs and health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments, and monitoring for effectiveness
  • Document resident care and progress in the electronic medical record
  • Collaborate with the Charge Nurse and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in resident care conferences and communicate effectively with families
  • Continuously update nursing skills and knowledge through in-services, continuing education programs, and staff meetings
Requirements:
  • Active MN RN license or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
