Job Opportunity at Federalist Pig

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Line Cook/Federalist Pig BBQ restaurant team member. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, working collaboratively with our staff, and contributing to the success of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our guests
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of energy and productivity
  • Assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation, adhering to our high standards of quality and safety
  • Support our front-of-house team, providing assistance with cash handling, serving, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere
  • Participate in ongoing training and development, enhancing your skills and knowledge to meet the evolving needs of our restaurant

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a high-volume restaurant environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation a plus
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions, including making conversions
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling procedures
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including breakfast, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • High energy and stamina, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and walk for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to withstand occasional temperatures up to 105 degrees
  • Ability to communicate and understand the primary language of the work location
  • Ability to perform essential functions to company standards with reasonable accommodation
