Job Overview
SUMMARY
Responsible for selling automotive parts and accessories to wholesale clients while actively pursuing new wholesale accounts.

Key Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The following duties are essential to the role. Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.

1. Assist wholesale customers in selecting necessary parts or accessories in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner.

2. Restock assigned inventory as required.

3. Prepare orders for daily shipment, delivery, or collection.

4. Locate or order parts as necessary.

5. Generate invoices for parts to be delivered to wholesale clients.

6. Maintain and cultivate wholesale accounts through in-person and telephone interactions.

7. Collaborate with the parts manager to maintain a lost sales tracking system.

8. Keep the parts manager updated on account statuses.

9. Uphold a professional appearance at all times.

Required Skills
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, brief correspondence, and memos.

Capable of effectively presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and colleagues.

Proficient in reading and interpreting documents such as safety regulations, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.

MATHEMATICAL ABILITY
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations in various units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Competent in calculating rates, ratios, and percentages, as well as determining figures such as discounts and commissions.

REASONING SKILLS
Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Capable of addressing problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.

Experience and Education
Minimum of two years of experience in automotive parts sales or related training is required.

High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
