Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with a range of diagnoses and conditions.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and goals.
  • Provide hands-on therapy sessions, including exercises, activities, and interventions to promote patient progress and independence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a clear and concise manner, using established protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
  • 1 year of experience working in acute care settings, preferably with pediatric patients.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
