As an Architectural Project Manager at Marvin, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and developing strong relationships with the architectural community. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and establish relationships with influential architects and designers to promote Marvin products.
  • Develop and deliver AIA Continuing Educational learning units to architectural firms, showcasing Marvin's expertise and solutions.
  • Pursue business development opportunities with facility managers and owners of institutional properties, highlighting the benefits of Marvin's products.
  • Plan and host factory tours for targeted architects, designers, channel partners, and trade customers, providing a unique experience and showcasing Marvin's capabilities.
  • Provide product and technical solutions to individual project opportunities, ensuring that Marvin's products meet the needs of each project.
  • Collaborate with the regional sales team to assess and develop channel partners' programs, expertise, and services, optimizing sales to the architectural and commercial segments.
  • Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory, including overnight stays, to build relationships and drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • A degree in an architectural, construction, or business-related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification, or the ability to obtain one within two years of employment.
  • Proven experience in consultative value proposition sales, specifying premium products to architectural/design firms.
  • Fenestration experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable accident and moving violation motor vehicle record.
  • The ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
  • The ability to navigate CAD-based design.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically.
