Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychiatric care, with a focus on patient-centered treatment and a commitment to excellence. This individual will provide IP psych evaluation, psychiatric consults, patient and family education, and daily team meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Provide IP psych evaluation for a 9-bed unit
  • Offer psychiatric consults for medical/surg beds
  • Conduct psychiatric consult/triage for the emergency room
  • Deliver patient and family education
  • Participate in daily team meetings
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must possess:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
  • Board certification or board eligibility in the State of Indiana
  • At least three years of post-residency experience in psychiatric work
  • Licensure to practice medicine in the State of Indiana
  • BLS certification and current DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
