Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general and vascular ultrasound exams, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and with regard for patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general and vascular ultrasound exams
  • Assure that a written physician order is received prior to an exam procedure and collect pertinent information
  • Review exams on Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), checking for quality and completeness, and complete proper paperwork and distribute exams for interpretation
  • Efficiently perform all tasks within their designated room, including cleaning and stocking their room, cleaning the machine and filter, and deleting exams off the machine daily
  • Demonstrate regard for patients' safety and comfort during transportation, immobilization, and positioning of patients
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization
Certifications and Requirements
  • Sonographer certification from the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced clinical environment with a high level of patient interaction. The successful candidate will be required to work days with call during week, weekend, and holidays.
