About the Role:

As a Service Advisor at Lithia & Driveway, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to initiate automotive services and repairs by identifying vehicle performance issues and service requests, verifying warranty and service contract coverage, and developing estimates. You will also serve as the liaison between the customer and technician, ensuring that the customer's needs are understood and that the necessary and recommended services are communicated effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, and calculating customer payments, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into the service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keep customers informed of service specials, completion times, and service expenses.

Requirements:

• Previous Service Advisor experience is preferred, but not required.
• Prior experience as an automotive technician is a plus.
• A team player with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
