Job Title: F&B Cashier-Hostess

At Odawa Casino Resort, we are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic F&B Cashier-Hostess to join our team. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing food and drinks, and handling cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to all guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks according to established sequences of service and standards.
  • Operate a cash register, accurately handling cash transactions and providing correct change.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist servers as needed, ensuring seamless service to our guests.
  • Recite daily specials and inform servers of filled or empty tables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining a neat and organized reservation book and assisting with VIP requests.
Requirements:
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of POS systems.
  • Basic math skills, with ability to count money and make change correctly.
  • Fluent English language skills, with ability to read, write, and speak effectively.
  • Good guest service skills and ability to handle busy periods during peak service times.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for long periods, and bending, kneeling, and reaching.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a food and beverage service role.
  • Knowledge of Agilysys InfoGenesis and Synkros systems.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
