Job Summary:
The Sports Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for both players and coaches. This position requires the ability to cultivate relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring the instructional elements of the i9 Sports Experience are effectively delivered. Key responsibilities include observing, assessing, and supporting our coaches, as well as being actively involved in practices and games across various age groups and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Empower volunteer coaches to conduct practice sessions that emphasize fundamentals, skill enhancement, and enjoyment
  • Instruct and exemplify core concepts, including values of sportsmanship
  • Oversee the overall operation of the designated sport during game days
  • Consistently exhibit a positive demeanor and exceptional customer service skills
Qualifications:
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Experience and knowledge in coaching specific sports such as flag football, soccer, and baseball
  • Self-motivated and proactive; capable of working independently and resolving issues
  • Ability to assess and manage situations to ensure player safety
  • Positive outlook and strong capacity to foster professional relationships
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and some evenings throughout the season
