Nurse Care Specialist

At DAVITA, we are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse RN to provide exceptional care to patients suffering from end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in an outpatient dialysis setting. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in building meaningful relationships with patients and their families, overseeing treatment plans, and working collaboratively within a team to enhance patient health.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with patients, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals. In addition to providing direct patient care, you will also be responsible for participating in quality improvement initiatives, maintaining accurate records, and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in nephrology and dialysis technology.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45.00 - $63.00 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, and more. Job Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
- Must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Previous experience in dialysis or nephrology is not required but is highly valued
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and responsibilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, and rotating Saturdays
- Ability to lift, transfer, and position patients safely and efficiently
