Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as First Party and Third Party Collectors. As a key member of our accounts receivable management team, you will be responsible for accurately and promptly following up on unpaid balances, providing exceptional customer service to patients, and negotiating payment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow up on unpaid balances and resolve patient accounts in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a courteous and respectful manner
  • Negotiate payment plans with patients, taking into account their financial situation and ability to pay
  • Work closely with our medical billing team to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims
  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts receivable, medical billing, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex patient accounts and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively
