## Director of PES

### Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Director of PES to lead the Behavioral Health department at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. This 457-bed community hospital provides quality care in a friendly and setting, known for its outstanding Behavioral Health, Women's Health, Primary Care, Pediatric, Geriatric, and Specialty Ambulatory services.

### Responsibilities

* Direct supervision of attending psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and psychiatric PA staff
* Overseeing the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care
* Working with leaders in the department, including in-patient and ambulatory programs, and the Emergency Medicine Department
* Assuming a key role in Patient Safety and Clinical Effectiveness
* Providing leadership in undergraduate medical education
* Incident review management and participation in departmental IR meetings
* Reviewing and revising guidelines for standards of care

### Qualifications

* Board Eligible or Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry
* Completion of an approved Psychiatry residency training program
* MD or DO from an accredited school of medicine
* License to practice medicine in the State of NY
