The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based treatments for individuals with intellectual and developmental delays, including those with and without autism.

As an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, the SLP will play a crucial role in enhancing communication skills, promoting social interaction and play skills, and improving overall quality of life for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and language needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support services
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication and language strengths and weaknesses
  • Provide training and support to families and caregivers on communication and language strategies
Requirements:
  • Masters in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid New York State license and registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Eligibility
