Job Summary:

As a Speech Language Pathologist PRN at AdventHealth, you will evaluate, plan, and deliver individualized patient care in the field of Speech Therapy. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer service mindset, and the ability to work as part of a team. You will provide Speech-Language Pathology evaluation, treatment, discharge planning, education, and preventative rehabilitative care to patients in need of it. Services are provided across the outpatient continuum and rendered in a cost-conscious, quality-focused, and customer-oriented manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients to determine their communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs.
  • Provide treatment services, including speech and language therapy, to patients in need of it.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure in the state of Georgia in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
