Job Overview

The Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist acts as the key liaison between supply chain operations and clients, ensuring timely product delivery to satisfy market needs while also managing the accurate documentation necessary for compliance with import regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the transportation of goods from manufacturing and distribution centers across the Americas to global affiliates and clients.
  • Optimize product allocation to maximize container efficiency and reduce shipping expenses.
  • Facilitate prompt and precise communication regarding shipments and other business-related matters.
  • Track essential performance metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and create corrective action plans to enhance operational performance.
  • Maintain the Master Arrivals Schedule (MAS) to ensure that inventory replenishments align with market demand and safety stock levels.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency, elevate customer service, and lower operational costs.
  • Ensure compliance with customer and shipping requirements, including system parameters, policies, and procedures.
  • Build and sustain effective working relationships with all internal and external supply chain stakeholders.
  • Serve as the representative for customers within the supply chain framework.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in international logistics is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong conflict resolution abilities
