Job Summary:

The Production Coordinator at Thompson Pipe Group will be responsible for managing the production schedule, coordinating with customers for deliveries, generating Bills of Lading (BOLs), and ordering production materials. This role requires close collaboration with the operations team to ensure seamless production processes and on-time order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Schedule Management: Oversee and manage the production schedule to ensure efficient and timely operations.
  • Customer Coordination: Coordinate with customers to arrange deliveries and accurately generate loading tickets (BOLs).
  • Inventory Management: Order and maintain inventory of production materials, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Submittal Package Preparation: Assist in the preparation of submittal packages, with an opportunity to learn basic CAD functionalities.
  • Production Facility Coordination: Conduct daily visits to the production facility to coordinate with the operations team on order status and production updates.
  • Industry Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of Thompson Pipe Group's operations and the broader industry.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Experience or studies in Construction, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Organizational and Communication Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Task Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities and technologies.
  • Industry Knowledge: Basic knowledge of production and manufacturing processes, particularly in the polymer industry, is a plus.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the construction, manufacturing, or precast concrete and construction management sectors is advantageous.
