Job Summary

Armada Recovery is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Therapist to join our team. As a Primary Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing individual and group counseling sessions to clients struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and didactic lectures to educate clients on recovery strategies and coping mechanisms.
  • Conduct individual counseling sessions to help clients set and achieve their recovery goals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans and strategies.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, psychology, social work).
  • 1+ year of experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
