Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida offers a range of programs and services aimed at supporting children and families. This role, part of the Neighborhood Center for Families Program, involves:

  • Delivering therapeutic services to children and families within a community-focused setting.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored multidisciplinary treatment plans.
  • Providing guidance and training to parents on effective therapeutic techniques and behavioral strategies.
  • Collaborating with treatment team members and case managers, including on-call support for crisis situations on a rotating schedule.

Position Overview:

Compensation: The starting salary for this position is $49,500 annually, with adjustments based on relevant qualifications and experience.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Qualifications:

Education and Licensure:

  • A Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology is required.
  • Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida is preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of two years of experience working directly with children, adolescents, and families, or relevant experience under the supervision of a licensed clinician is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Completion of a three-day orientation program is required.
  • Willingness to meet clients in community settings is essential.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment medical screenings, including drug and TB tests, is mandatory.
