About the Role

NKSFB, LLC is a leading business management firm with a strong presence in the music industry. We are seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor/Manager to join our team and lead our royalty compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the audit process for record labels and music publishers, ensuring compliance with financial terms in agreements.
  • Design and implement audit programs tailored to individual client needs, utilizing expertise in music industry agreements and financial analysis.
  • Train and supervise staff, providing guidance on audit procedures and ensuring high-quality results.
  • Communicate effectively with auditees, clients, and other stakeholders, providing clear and concise audit reports and recommendations.
  • Assist in the development of audit budgets and practice growth strategies, contributing to the success of our music industry audit practice.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of audit experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of music industry agreements, financial analysis, and audit procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows, with experience in Excel and Access/SQL.
