Key Responsibilities: We are seeking a skilled Winder to take on critical tasks associated with rewinding various types of electromechanical equipment. The role encompasses:
- Rewinding a variety of electromechanical devices
- Dismantling and/or stripping damaged or non-functional equipment, including media blasting
- Inspecting equipment for winding damage and signs of electrical issues
- Documenting all relevant data pertaining to the unit's electromagnetic characteristics and operating conditions
- Preparing reusable components for rewinding and assessing renewed parts for hidden damage
- Stripping stators or apparatus without causing damage to the core
- Conducting voltage tests on rewound equipment in accordance with EASA Standards and recording the results
- Experience in rewinding AC and DC electric motors
- Prior experience with winding fields, armatures, and synchronous rotor poles
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend moderately complex instructions
- Capacity to understand and retain various job-related training and safety procedures
- Proficiency in operating machinery and hoists
- Willingness to work overtime as required
