Key Responsibilities: We are seeking a skilled Winder to take on critical tasks associated with rewinding various types of electromechanical equipment. The role encompasses:
  • Rewinding a variety of electromechanical devices
  • Dismantling and/or stripping damaged or non-functional equipment, including media blasting
  • Inspecting equipment for winding damage and signs of electrical issues
  • Documenting all relevant data pertaining to the unit's electromagnetic characteristics and operating conditions
  • Preparing reusable components for rewinding and assessing renewed parts for hidden damage
  • Stripping stators or apparatus without causing damage to the core
  • Conducting voltage tests on rewound equipment in accordance with EASA Standards and recording the results
Qualifications and Skills: The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Experience in rewinding AC and DC electric motors
  • Prior experience with winding fields, armatures, and synchronous rotor poles
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend moderately complex instructions
  • Capacity to understand and retain various job-related training and safety procedures
  • Proficiency in operating machinery and hoists
  • Willingness to work overtime as required
