Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diagnosing and treating a wide range of rheumatologic conditions, with a passion for teaching and research. They will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and examinations, developing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and examinations of patients with rheumatologic disorders.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and guidelines.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests, imaging studies, and joint aspirations.
  • Initiate and/or recommend medical drug therapies or other forms of related therapeutic treatment and procedures in accordance with approved protocols/policy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Participate in academic activities, such as teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and contributing to research projects and clinical trials.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities.
Requirements:
  • MD/DO
  • Active and unrestricted UT license
  • BC/BE in Rheumatology
Salary and Benefits Package:
