Role Summary
Carter's is looking for a Part Time Sales Manager to be the first point of contact for growing families in our stores. You will be responsible for welcoming customers, providing product expertise, and fostering a positive store environment.

Responsibilities
As a Part Time Sales Manager, you will:

  • Become a product expert for our brands to help families navigate every moment from preemie to size 14.
  • Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits.
  • Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
  • Consistently model service standards and omni-channel experience while coaching others to success.
  • Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and detailed follow through.
  • Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns timely and with an appropriate resolution.
  • Utilize customer feedback to identify areas of opportunity to implement actions to drive results.
  • Build customer loyalty through Company sponsored programs, including credit.
  • Offer consistent, in the moment feedback to store team and raise performance concerns to Store Manager.
  • Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation.
  • Support store team with Asset Protection through a consistent level of customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A positive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Proficient Computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, Web navigation, etc.).
  • A variety of skills and experiences.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • The ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • The ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder.
  • Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
