Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with shippers, carriers, and internal teams to manage transportation arrangements from pre-pickup to delivery.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in booking carriers, negotiating rates, and resolving issues related to claims, detention, OS&D, layovers, and breakdowns.
  • Maintain accurate updates on carrier assignments and provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure efficient and reliable transportation services.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to achieve operational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in customer service and/or logistics is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the trucking industry is a plus.
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
