**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Observation Unit team at UCHealth. As an Observation Unit RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a diverse range of patients, utilizing your critical thinking skills to prioritize care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient-centered care by assessing patient needs, developing individualized plans, and implementing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
  • Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program (if less than 3 years' experience).
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
