We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team of dedicated professionals at UCHealth.
As an Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in an outpatient infusion setting. You will assess, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Your expertise will be instrumental in monitoring and documenting patient conditions, communicating effectively with the healthcare team, and providing education and support to patients and families.
You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with ancillary personnel and assist in orienting new team members.
In this rewarding role, you will make a tangible difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement patient care plans related to infusion services
- Monitor and document patient conditions
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Delegate tasks to ancillary personnel
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification required within 6 months for new hires and 1 year for new graduates
- A minimum of 6 months nursing experience
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
