Key Responsibilities- Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' communication needs and develop individualized plans.
- Develop and Implement IEPs: Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
- Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students through sign language in a virtual setting.
- Communication: Communicate with students, parents, and educators through sign language and other means.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Connecticut SLP license
- ASHA CCCs preferred
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience working with deaf or hard-of-hearing students in a school setting
- Strong technical skills and experience with teletherapy platforms
