Key Responsibilities
  • Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' communication needs and develop individualized plans.
  • Develop and Implement IEPs: Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students through sign language in a virtual setting.
  • Communication: Communicate with students, parents, and educators through sign language and other means.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Connecticut SLP license
  • ASHA CCCs preferred
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Experience working with deaf or hard-of-hearing students in a school setting
  • Strong technical skills and experience with teletherapy platforms
