- Provide virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies to improve clients' speech and language skills.
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and communication with stakeholders.
- Stay current on advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and participate in continuing education opportunities as required.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Connecticut state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a teletherapy or remote setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and caregivers in a virtual environment.
- Proficiency in utilizing teletherapy platforms and technology for virtual sessions.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively while adhering to professional and ethical standards.
