VocoVision is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Virtual Speech Language Pathologist to provide remote speech and language therapy services to clients in Connecticut.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
  • Provide virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies to improve clients' speech and language skills.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Stay current on advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and participate in continuing education opportunities as required.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Connecticut state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a teletherapy or remote setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and caregivers in a virtual environment.
  • Proficiency in utilizing teletherapy platforms and technology for virtual sessions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively while adhering to professional and ethical standards.
