About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Benihana National Corp. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with guests in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring their satisfaction with our service.
- Take orders, serve food and beverages, and handle payments in a professional and efficient manner.
- Upsell and promote our menu items, specials, and promotions to increase sales and revenue.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Basic understanding of beer, wine, spirits, and sake is preferred.
- Where applicable, holds a state and/or local food handlers card.
- Ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be 18 years of age or older or in accordance with state law.
- High School diploma or GED is preferred. Equivalent combination of education/experience will be considered.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends. Must be able to work overtime as required.
