Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Oakland, California. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our departmental patient care programs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans to address their occupational therapy needs. Implement treatment plans through direct patient care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on the use of adaptive equipment and devices. Regularly assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Participate in educational and clinical research activities in occupational therapy. Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental patient care programs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Demonstrate ongoing progress toward meeting the criteria for professional practice.

Requirements
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience as an occupational therapist required.
  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a bachelor's or master's degree and certification in occupational therapy or foreign-trained equivalent.
  • Occupational Therapist License (California) required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
