About the Role

This is a vital position within our pharmacy department, where you will provide support and guidance to patients and families. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for performing manipulative and non-discretionary functions, ensuring accurate and timely filling of specialty pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to connect patients with MHS specialty pharmacy resources
  • Process prior authorization (PA) requests from specialty clinics
  • Determine patient eligibility and enroll patients in copay assistance and medication assistance programs when appropriate
Requirements
  • Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
  • Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other)
