Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, interpreting IV admixture orders, and preparing primary IV/solutions. You will also supervise support personnel and assume responsibility for the final check of all completed work.

Responsibilities:
  • Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders
  • Prepare primary IV/solutions and manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required
  • Supervise support personnel and assume responsibility for the final check of all completed work
  • Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services
  • Provide for the safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care services
Requirements:
  • Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred
  • Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
  • Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in a setting appropriate to the work assignment
