The Perioperative Registered Nurse is responsible for tailoring care plans to ensure the delivery of safe and age-appropriate treatment for patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures within an Ambulatory Surgery Facility.
This role also includes serving as a mentor, resource, and leader for other members of the healthcare team, while working under the direct supervision of the Clinical Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Formal education equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years of college) is required.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience is necessary.
- Must possess a valid Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification and ACLS certification are mandatory.
