Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Controller in daily financial operations management, including budgeting, forecasting, and report generation.
  • Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
  • Monitor financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Support closing processes and internal control development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors and resolve audit findings promptly.
  • Supervise accounts payable tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives, including market research and competitor analysis.
  • Collaborate across departments for timely financial information, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, applying knowledge to inform financial decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA is a requirement.
  • Big Six audit experience is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience (healthcare experience is a plus).
  • Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge, with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with capability to work independently and in a team.
  • Experience with financial audits and compliance, with ability to apply knowledge to inform financial decisions.
