Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our finance team at Enso Village. This role plays a key part in managing accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and billing/collections from residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vendor Management & Accounts Payable:
    • Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate and consistent data entry.
    • Maintain organized vendor records and documentation.
    • Process accounts payable transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and payments using accounting software.
    • Verify and compare purchase orders, pricing, terms of payment, and other charges.
    • Ensure timely and accurate payment of bills in accordance with department procedures.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
  • Accounts Receivable & Billing:
    • Generate and send invoices to residents promptly and accurately.
    • Resolve discrepancies and answer billing-related questions from residents.
    • Track and resolve outstanding payment issues, communicating effectively with residents to ensure timely payments.
    • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted.
    • Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to minimize delinquencies.
  • General Accounting & Reporting:
    • Support the Senior Accountant with reconciliations, journal entries, and other financial tasks.
    • Analyze workflow processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
    • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting as needed.
    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable processing.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service orientation.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $25-$28 per hour, based on industry standards and market research.
