Neurocritical Care Team Lead

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor Neurocritical Care ACP to join our team. As a key member of our Neurocritical Care department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and workflow of our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate staff and daily operations to ensure efficient department workflow.
- Train and mentor new hires and current team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Create and manage the Neurocritical Care team schedule to ensure optimal coverage.
- Provide constructive feedback to team members to improve their performance.
- Help resolve disputes and conflicts within the team.
- Interpret, communicate, and implement policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Analyze efficiency, quality of care, and compliance to identify areas for improvement.
- Act as a liaison with associated departments to maintain and improve volume, quality, and revenue generation.
- Function as an Advanced Clinical Provider, handling complex cases as needed.
- Interpret, communicate, and implement policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance among Advanced Clinical Providers.
- Oversee department quality assurance initiatives to ensure high standards of care.
- Act as a liaison with Advanced Clinical Providers to provide teaching resources and support.
- Assist in developing and implementing curriculum for Advanced Clinical Provider training in compliance with professional, regulatory, and legislative requirements.
- Prepare and present cases for Morbidity & Mortality Conference.
- Master's degree in physician assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New York.
- ACLS and BLS certification.
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong work ethic, organizational, and computer skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and effective interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities.
