Job Overview

We are seeking to hire a dedicated part-time individual to serve as a Parking Enforcement Officer within our healthcare facilities.

Your responsibilities will include consistently monitoring the parking areas to ensure proper usage, maintaining clear access to roadways, and acting as a deterrent against theft and vandalism. Additionally, you may be called upon to assist with various administrative tasks.

Our operations run every day of the week, throughout the year. Most shifts will occur from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work. Shifts will be scheduled between 0700 and 2100 hours on a rotating basis over a six-week cycle. There will also be opportunities for additional hours to cover for colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

You will be tasked with patrolling the parking facilities to ensure adherence to the organization's parking policies in a respectful yet firm manner, while also serving as a deterrent to theft and vandalism throughout the premises.

Your role will involve supporting efforts to create a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff, which includes collaboration with various hospital departments and external agencies.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit, well-groomed, possess strong verbal communication skills, and demonstrate flexibility. You should be capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

New hires will undergo a six-month probationary period to acclimate to the role and work environment.

Comprehensive training and uniforms will be provided.
