Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Pegasus Steel Group. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by performing visual and layout inspections, testing, and evaluating products at various stages of the production process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual and layout inspections to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Test and inspect products at various stages of production to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Analyze and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
  • Compile and present information concerning manufacturing quality problems.
  • Develop and implement techniques to interpret codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure part conformance and quality standards.
  • Record test data and evaluate results to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Requirements
  • Must have ASNT Level II certification in VT and MT or equivalent experience.
  • Must pass with an 80% or better the Level II test in the following: General exam, Specific exam, Practical exam.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and interpret requirements.
  • Must have sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology.
Benefits
  • Bonus $2,500.00 upon hire if candidates have both valid ASNT Level II certifications in VT and MT.
  • Bonus $2,500.00 after passing a successful satisfactory 90-day review with no disciplinary write-ups and with good attendance.
  • NDT Level II starting rate is $37.50 per hour.
