Benefis Health System is seeking a highly skilled Power Plant Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various equipment related to the Power Plant and Laundry operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, repair, and maintain boilers, pumps, hot water heaters, condensate systems, cooling towers, emergency generators, water softeners, commercial washers, dryers, and folders.
- Provide training on power plant equipment operations to scheduled personnel.
- Train in-house and outside personnel on boiler licensing requirements.
- Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and handle changing situations.
- Interact with various stakeholders, manage stressful situations, and resolve conflicts.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3rd Class Boilers License required.
- Twelve months of experience operating and maintaining a comparable plant.
- Twelve months of experience operating and maintaining commercial laundry equipment.
