Job Overview

Kids of Valor Academy in Santa Fe, TX is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director to join our team. As a key member of our 11-person strong team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the daily operations of our childcare facility run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations regarding health and safety.
  • Develop and implement educational programs and activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children.
  • Manage staff, including hiring, training, and monitoring performance.
  • Handle paperwork, create reports for parents, collect payments, and provide customer service.
  • Conferring with parents and staff to discuss educational activities and policies, as well as students' behavioral or learning problems.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a childcare center or preschool setting.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of state and local regulations governing childcare centers.
  • Additional qualifications may include certification in relevant courses or experience in management.
