Audiologist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at QTC Company in Tacoma, WA. As an Audiologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality hearing care services to our clients.

Job Summary

The Audiologist will be responsible for administering and interpreting various tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment. You will evaluate test results, document findings, and provide recommendations for treatment. Additionally, you will work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and interpret tests to determine hearing impairment
  • Evaluate test results and document findings
  • Provide recommendations for treatment
  • Work closely with the team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Conduct otoscopic examinations, cerumen management, and calibration checks of audiometric equipment
  • Lead paraprofessional staff training for Audiology-specific skills and certifications
  • Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs)
Requirements
  • Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au.D) from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of clinic practice experience
  • Currently licensed Audiologist in the state employed
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) certification
  • Ability to earn and maintain training/certifications as required to support current and future contracts
