**Potential for a $7,500 Sign-On Bonus**
Position Highlights:
- Student Loan Assistance: This role may qualify for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, providing monthly contributions of $167 (up to $10,000) to help reduce your loan balance.

Role Overview
Responsible for the planning, organization, and delivery of social work services tailored for cancer patients and their families, ensuring that their clinical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs are met. Provide individual and group counseling, facilitate educational opportunities for patients and families, and oversee the coordination and evaluation of clinical activities. Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop care plans within the outpatient cancer care continuum. Maintain communication with referral agencies and community resources.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work is mandatory.
- Experience or training in oncology is preferred.
Licensure Requirements
- Must hold a valid Social Worker license in South Dakota.
- Oncology social work certification is advantageous.
Compensation
The hourly wage for this position is outlined below. Actual pay will be determined based on experience.
- $43.50 per hour
