We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Specialist to join our team at Dominion Payroll. As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for performing critical tax functions under the general supervision of the Tax Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor client support software and respond to inquiries within 48 hours
- Setup new clients in tax software and import payroll history; perform balancing procedures to ensure data is accurate
- Prepare Federal and State amended tax returns and assist with the process for multi-state payroll tax filings and reconciliations
- Makes daily tax payments to various tax agencies
- Must have, or be working towards, an accounting, business, or finance degree
- Strong organization and follow up skills providing analytical support in payroll tax
- Highly effective communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas and concepts
- Payroll tax experience
- You are hungry to learn, humble enough to listen, and forming deep relationships is one of your greatest strengths
