Essential Functions:
  • Demonstrated experience in producing high-volume, high-quality food.
  • Proficiency in various cooking techniques, including grilling and sauce preparation.
  • Expertise in traditional Indian cooking methods, including the preparation of meats, breads, curries, sauces, and desserts.
  • Ability to regulate cooking equipment temperatures effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining presentation standards for all dishes.
  • Willingness to train and guide other staff in tandoor techniques as needed.
  • Experience with food storage in temperature-controlled environments.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and GMP practices is advantageous.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in Indian cuisine preparation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid food handler's certificate or equivalent.

Work Environment:
This position is primarily indoor-based, with noise levels varying from minimal to loud. The role requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds regularly. Safety and security protocols must be observed at all times.
