Job Title: Dialysis Technician

Core Dialysis is a leading provider of acute dialysis services, committed to delivering high-quality care while promoting access and cost management. With a strong clinical presence and exceptional client satisfaction, we serve multiple long-term acute care facilities and acute care hospitals throughout Texas.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to support our RNs in providing acute dialysis treatments in the Austin/Round Rock, TX area. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the RN, patient, family members, and facility staff to ensure each patient's needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  • Follow all patient-specific and facility-level policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Adapt work methods to accommodate the unique needs of each patient.
  • Perform delegated tasks, including transportation of patients, inventory management, and completing water and machine logs.
  • Maintain compliance with Core Dialysis policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Demonstrate proper utilization and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Perform clerical duties, ensuring accurate and confidential documentation of patient data.
  • Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Practice safety measures and adhere to infection control standards.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare facility staff and Core staff as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6-12 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Reliable transportation to and from scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to use reasonable care in carrying out verbal and written instructions.
  • Flexibility to work at least 32 hours per week.
  • Ability to complete physical tasks, including repositioning patients, lifting supplies, and responding to emergencies.
