Job Summary

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Junior Estimator to join our dynamic team in Carlsbad, CA. As a key member of our Estimating department, you will play a crucial role in preparing detailed estimates for large construction projects, working closely with our collaborative team to secure multi-million-dollar contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for assigned scopes-of-work on various construction projects
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced estimating professionals to develop competitive bids
  • Build relationships with subcontractors and vendors to ensure accurate and competitive bidding
  • Immerse yourself in the construction trades and gain expertise in building systems and estimating software
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • One year of experience in architectural/engineering/construction estimating and related functions
  • Conceptual and Hard-Bid estimating experience preferred
  • Computer literacy and specific software literacy required
