Skyline Med Staff Allied is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in the Pacific Northwest.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to capture high-quality images of the heart and blood vessels.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by following infection control protocols and disposing of biohazardous materials.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technology and procedures to provide the best possible care.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
