Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect Aircraft Components: Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft parts and components to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company standards.
  • Review Technical Records: Review and audit technical records to ensure accuracy and completeness, and to identify any potential quality control issues.
  • Enforce Quality Control Standards: Enforce quality control standards for material receiving, shipping, storage, handling, repairs, and overhaul to ensure that quality, allowable tolerances, and other specifications and standards set by the customer are met.
  • Perform Maintenance Work: Perform maintenance work and repair of company equipment and general shop housecleaning.
  • Test and Inspect Aircraft Systems: Test and inspect aircraft systems, including power plant and hydraulic systems, to ensure that specified tolerances are met.
  • Log Inspections: Log inspections performed on aircraft and ensure that all work performed is done in a safe manner.
Requirements:
  • A&P License: Possess a valid A&P license and a valid driver's license.
  • Experience: Have at least 3 years of experience in aircraft inspection, preferably in a FAR Part 145 environment.
  • Education: Possess a post-secondary education or training in aircraft maintenance or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • Skills: Possess skills in the use of computer systems, maintenance manuals, documentation systems, and the Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and have good vision and depth perception.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a hangar and ramp environment, performing inspections and maintenance work on aircraft in accordance with FARs and company standards.
